How many times have you looked at someone you admired and thought “what a lucky bastard”? Did you think he/she became successful overnight? If so, you’re wrong. There is no such thing as an overnight success. On the other hand, if these successful people you admire lost everything tomorrow, they could get it back in due time.
The ability to be able to regain status, money or fame is a phenomenon of successful people. Why? Because they went through the trenches to get to where they were before they lost it all. The Process.
I know you’ve heard people say Enjoy the Process. Or The Journey is more Important than the Destination. These statements are 100% truth. The process, or journey, is so much more important than the outcome. Who you become in the process is the important matter.
I caution my clients constantly that they will evolve into someone who is virtually unrecognizable from before they started this program. This is not just a physical transformation, but confidence, intellect, discipline…everything. If you are surrounded by people who are insecure, these people will either try to pull you down or leave you. Either way, your circle of friends when you start this program will, more than likely, not be the same circle you have when you arrive at your destination.
Have you ever noticed that lottery winners often are broke and in debt shortly after winning the lottery? What about people who got gastric bypass surgery? A majority of them gain most, if not all, of the weight back. Why? They didn’t go through the process of earning the outcome. Therefore, they didn’t appreciate the outcome because they hadn’t put in the work.
Put in the work to become successful, fit, rich, famous…whatever it is you want. If you put in the hard work, day in and day out, you will enjoy the outcome so much more when you arrive at your destination. Plus, if you lost it all, you would know how to and be willing to work to regain it all back (which takes less time in repeat).
