Overnight oats are an amazingly simple way to prep a breakfast or a snack for a busy on-the-go life. By adding some collagen, you can boost your protein. There are a lot of variations that you can do with overnight oats, but this is the one that brings (my sister) Cheri joy.
Cheri’s Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are a quick and easy breakfast or snack made by soaking rolled oats in liquid overnight. They are super simple for when you something quick for your on-the-go lifestyle.
- 0.5 cup fat free milk (Fairlife Brand)
- 2 scoops chocolate collagen (Vitals Brand)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp PB Fit
- 1 tbsp miniature chocolate chips
- 0.5 cup rolled oats
- 1 medium banana (sliced)
To a mason jar or small bowl with a lid, add milk, chia seeds,PB fit, collagen and chocolate chips and stir with a spoon to combine.
Add oats and stir a few more times. Press down with a spoon to ensure all oats have been moistened and are immersed in milk.
Cover securely with a lid or seal and set in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 6 hours).
The next day, open add banana and enjoy!
Overnight oats will keep for 2-3 days in the fridge.
