Supercharge your day with these anabolic pancakes. They are so yummy even without syrup!
Anabolic (aka Protein Packed) Pancakes
Supercharge your day at breakfast by slightly altering a weekend favorite…Pancakes!
- griddle
- 1 cup panckage mix (just add water type)
- 2 scoop Prestige Labs Homemade Vanilla Protein Powder
- 130 gram egg whites
- 1 cup cottage cheese (nutrition based on 4.5% cottage cheese)
- 2 tsp apple pie spice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp almond extract
Mix all ingredients together either by hand or using a blender/mixer
Make approximately 6" size pancakes on griddle top (or pan with non-stick spray)
Pancakes are ready to flip when they start showing air bubbles
Flip and cook approximately 2 more minutes
These pancakes are so good by themselves, but if you must put syrup on them try to use sugar-free. I typically make up several so I can have them as snacks throughout the week.
